The photograph, created during an artist residency program in Paris, shows two white swans swimming on the banks of the Seine River. The work creates a sense of duality in relation to the gaze - on the one hand, the swans bury their heads in the water, creating a sense of detachment, diving into an invisible and dreamy underwater world. On the other hand, their white bodies, remaining above the water, take the form of slanted white eyes looking out at us from the darkness. A poetic, enigmatic and metamorphic moment, of a mirage between the revealed and the hidden.
