Naama amar hadany
lives and works in Jezreel Valley.
Naama Amar Hadany is a sculptor and drawing-based artist whose work investigates the meeting point between human gesture and natural process. Her practice unfolds through a chain of actions and material transformations, navigating the space between the man-made and the organic. Often disrupting the boundaries between the animate and inanimate, her works evoke a tension between control and entropy, preservation and disintegration. Through these gestures, she constructs environments in which viewers confront the fragile balance between intervention and surrender.
Amar Hadany graduated a BFA from HaMidrasha – Faculty of the Arts at Beit Berl College and an MFA with highest honors from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She is the recipient of numerous awards and grants, including the Outset Fund Grant, the Pais Council Grant, the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (Sharet) Scholarship, and the Oscar Hendler Prize.
