
Eshchar Hanoch Kligbeil
Born in Kibbutz Nir Oz, creates and lives in Tel Aviv-Yafo
Eshchar Hanoch Klingbeil's main practice focuses on drawing, through it he explores the last romantic frontier - Outer space and the limits of the medium. The universe he constructs invites a parallel process of searching within the unknown—an eclipsed realm of subtle contrasts, shifting textures, and optical illusions. These landscapes allow viewers to immerse themselves in the imagined terrain of distant worlds.
Klingbeil graduated his BFA and MFA from the Fine Arts Program at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. his works have been exhibited in Israel and abroad in several solo and group exhibitions and are in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and abroad and is held in institutional and private collections worldwide. He is the recipient of numerous awards and grants, including the Ministry of Culture’s Prize to Encourage Creativity (2024), the ARTIQ Fellowship (2022), Rabinovich Foundation (2020), and the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Culture (2019).
